Gaara walked close to Lee's side as they made their way toward the gondolas. He wasn't really looking forward to this. Crowds put him on edge, and he was all too aware that a large group of people packed together on a floating island would make a tempting target for their enemies. But after tonight, he reasoned, the carnival would be gone and he wouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing anymore.

He scanned the crowds. "Do you see her?"

Well finding the place hadn't been as hard as she thought it was going to be, the map the communicator had was rather helpful with that. Seeing such a large crowd was what made things more difficult, but really Rinoa should have expected something like this. The young woman carefully made her through the throng of people trying to spot Lee.

Light grey eyes blinked when she finally did, he really wasn't that hard to miss, for a few seconds her eyes looked at the red-head -the stalker, before placing a warm smile on her face while she approached them. "Ohh, sorry...it was a bit hard to make my way here." She nodded a bit at both of them. "It's rather nice to properly meet you."

"It is good to meet you in person as well, Rinoa-san." Lee smiled brightly at the girl, feeling a bit relieved that she'd found her way- he'd wondered if maybe he should've met her at Casualty Communal after all. Death City was fairly large, and the carnival meant that the area at the flying gondolas was crowded. He peered over the line to get an idea of how long they'd be waiting, but the boats seemed to be moving at a fairly quick pace.

"Rinoa-san, this is the friend I mentioned." Lee paused for a second, wondering exactly how he should introduce Gaara. As the Kazekage of Suna? It was a title that didn't mean anything here, really. Maybe it was enough to just introduce him as a friend. "Gaara-san, this is Rinoa-san, one of the new arrivals. Well, newer ones, I guess." It wasn't like they'd been here that long either.

"Should we get in line?"

Gaara nodded, keeping his arms crossed over his chest. "I'm his meister," he added.

This girl seemed a bit more...normal than the last one, at least. And Lee could talk to her without dissolving into fits of stuttering and blushing, for the most part. Probably a good thing.

They got into line. Gaara was already a bit tense from the crush of people around them, but once they got to the carnival itself, the crowd would probably thin out a bit. As they waited, he glanced over at the girl. "Have you found out which you are, yet? Weapon or meister?"
