Yuri huffed in defeat as he finally gave up on the door knob, glaring daggers at it, as though it had just insulted him and everything he held dear. Honestly, he had told Flynn he was going to stop by, so why didn't he just leave it unlocked for him? They lived right next door from each other; it obviously wouldn't take long for him to arrive. ... Then again, now that he thought about it, that's probably exactly why he left it locked.

Brushing a stray strand of hair away from his face, he finally tore his gaze from the door knob and reached down to pick up a small, brown paper bag that he had placed on the ground before trying to break into Flynn's room. He had made a couple of sandwiches for them to snack on as they spoke, but he was really considering just eating Flynn's share now. He lightly rapped his knuckles against the door.

"You're not funny."

Maybe the door knob wouldn't have insulted you if you had knocked first, Yuri. Gosh. halfoftownshope June 8 2010, 08:03:42 UTC
Flynn's smile widened into a smirk once he heard the knock at the door. "I wasn't trying to be." Just as he moved his hand to undo the lock, he stopped to consider this carefully. Yuri was at the other end of the door. ... He would probably end up throwing something at him for leaving it locked. The younger of the two let out a barely audible sigh as he unlocked and opened it.

"Hey."

He wasn't trying to be? Right. He could practically hear the smirk on Flynn's face. Yuri knew him well enough to realize that he probably thought this was hilarious. He narrowed his eyes at his friend once the door was opened and shoved the bag into his hands, stepping past him and into the room. Yuri took a quick glance around, absently noting how clean it was being kept. Not that it really came as much of a surprise; Flynn was always a bit of a neat freak.

"So," He plopped down lazily into a chair. "How'd the whole information gathering thing go?"

NO. YOU'RE THE ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DOOR KNOB. halfoftownshope June 11 2010, 23:10:26 UTC
Flynn blinked as the small, brown paper bag was shoved into his hands. He wasn't expecting Yuri to bring anything with him. While his friend was looking around the room, he opened the bag and peered into it. "You made sandwiches? I could have--" Flynn cut himself off and shook his head. He knew if he finished that sentence, it would turn into an argument about his cooking and they wouldn't get anywhere.

As Flynn sat down on a chair next to Yuri's, he took a sandwich out of the paper bag and and handed it to him. "Pretty good, actually. I received some information on witches, but it seems I'll have to go to the library later to get more. I also received information about partners, our current situation, training, and classes. How much do you know so I know what to explain?"
