I don't know. None of it makes sense. If that was in practice, then niisan or myself wouldn't have been able to do what we did for one another. But then there's no proof either, because there wasn't enough time in between for it to come into effect. Niisan didn't die the last time, he just went through the Gate.

I don't think niisan is paying the price... I hope not. But if he truly is changing into a Homunculus... what does that mean will happen to me?

Well if you are linked to each other on such a deep level that when one of you dies so does the other...~ then my guess is that you'll probably change into a Homunculus or whatever it is the o'chibi is turning into.

Haku... do you know anything? I know that... recently niisan seemed to tell you more than he did me. Do you know anything... even if niisan swore you to secrecy, about what could be causing this change?

I'm sorry Al.. all I know is that he was losing his memories.. he had a journal he would write it.. so he wouldn't forget..

He also was doing something in a lab... he mentioned something about cells.. I didn't really understand it.

No idea... but this time, he seems to have actually left the school. And... don't worry about it. I'm sure that he'll be found soon enough, especially if he needs the help that he does.

I had no idea alchemy was capable of turning you different shapes.

He left the school, too. That's good there's a better chance of finding him this time, although the circumstances why are worrisome. I don't quite understand how alchemy works, but how near has Ed's body broken down to the point it can't be repaired. If that is what's happening, that is.

Well it isn't so much that niisan's body is being broken down, it's changing. From what I understand, he used alchemy to manipulate his own cells, against another alchemy attack. And... somehow it carried on.

Mostly. I... think, at least. I know enough to know hoe to help him temporarily. But I really need him here with me for a while to reverse the effects fully. It's... going to take some intricate alchemy work.
