In my own case, I'm relatively certain my Weapon would never allow me another, and I don't particularly care for the idea of her in another's hands outside of necessity either- though simply because I wouldn't trust any other Meister with her. But I'm confident we could interchange with one other pair on a temporary basis comfortably as an exception to that rule.

I see. And what if you were injured? Would you rather she stayed with you, or temporarily worked with someone else for the sake of completing missions? A weapon can still get stronger with others if they earn themselves more souls, but is it worth it?

However, in theory if she really wanted to continue missions while I was incapacitated, I'd want to make sure it was someone I could trust with her. As I mentioned, those are few in number, and only one comes to mind immediately.

I would personally only use a Weapon other than my partner if given no other choice, and they weren't around. Partners shouldn't be treated as last season's fashions, out with the old and in with the new.

If it was an attack, I would not like being unable to fight. But I know that he is strong, and that we would have a better chance of winning if he was fighting.

What about Tenten? Or Neji?

You're my partner. Why would anyone else need to wield you?

Someone else wielding me would not make me not your partner.
