I've never gotten the flu.

Hand sanitizer works well enough for conserving water.

Nor have I, but the symptoms always look uncomfortable enough to be a deterrent. Or encouragement, I suppose.

I can't say it's an experience most people intend to have, but it doesn't stop occasional carelessness from inviting illness.

If they're careless, they might as well have intended it. It shows no concern for one's wellbeing.

My- but weren't you recovering from a cold yourself when I'd arrived?

... I know washing your hands keeps off illness, but what do water and sleep have to do with anything?

An average of eight hours of sleep is necessary to keep your body functioning without straining itself, especially since the holidays seem to bring as much stress as they do laughter. Similarly, staying properly hydrated means that the human body is better able to digest food and flush toxins from it's system.

It's easier to maintain the health of an already healthy body, if you follow, Miss Rhode.

Oh.

[ She frowns, still looking a bit puzzled. She never really paid much attention to medicine in her own world, since she didn't need it, and it was rather archaic anyways... ]

I guess that makes sense.

But I suppose that given the differences we see in people from other worlds, it's very possible that there are those who's bodies have no need for such a thing at all.

[he sees what you did there, Haibara.]

That's considerate of you.

[ oh dear, you never do look happy to see me ]

Oh, haha, I suppose as a physician, we only ever aspire to maintain our patient's health.

[ guess who's hands remain off camera. just for you. ]

I do hope you take my advice under consideration, detective. I know you heroic protectors always seem to forgo yourselves for the greater good.
