[She's at the clinic this time, a little tangled up in some bandages.]

You know, this was a lot easier when all you had to do is call on a curaga spell, and that healed everyone up just fine. But noooo, here you need to stitch them up, which is kinda scary, and then bandage them up, and I always get these things caught on something, yeah?

Yeah, at the new arcade that Junpei opened. It is pretty awesome!

[It's a slow day today. Also just as cold as the previous days. Kurapika hopes that Watson's dressed more warmly today, just as he hopes that Vanille doesn't catch a cold in her shorts and halter top.]

I can always heal your injuries for you if you're afraid of stitches.

[It's not that cold out. Or. Colder then she's used to. But then, she's used to it being warm out.]

I just don't want to hurt other people with that needle and thread, yeah? [She looks up guiltily, rolling up another roll of bandages and gauze.]

I guess I need to get over it, but...

Ah. I thought it was something else. [Or rather, he was just passing by and didn't hear clearly and thought she was worried about stitches on herself.]

It's all right, the stitching itself shouldn't hurt if you apply local anesthesia.

[She sighs, nodding.]

It shouldn't, but it looks like it does anyway, yeah? And if people are already in pain, I don't really want to keep adding to that!

I can't even imagine how convenient having healing magic must be. Much more useful than other kinds, I'm sure.

Super convenient! And really helpful, none of this take forever to heal, stuff.

To me, even the sorts of things they have here seem impressive. It's lucky you weren't sent back another century or two!

A spell was all it took? [A look of awe.] I didn't know you were capable of such power.

I kinda thought everyone could do that back home... yeah, just a spell! A high level one, but still just one, yeah?

[Smiles.] Still, that's amazing. This must be taking some adjusting to, then.

How have you been, aside from your medical endeavors?

It used to, but I'm getting the hang of it, yeah?

I'm okay! How about you?

Glad to know that I'm not the only one missing materia here. Muuuuch prefer the Curaga to stitches.

And hey, if you're up for shopping, count me in.
