Y'know, no one knows everything about a person. Important things will come out in the end but... it's up to them at the end of the tell whether or not they tell you these things.

[It's the most generic thing she can think of to say for this situation - one where she doesn't know anything other than Shaun feels betrayed. It's also something she can understand. She was in this situation a while ago. It worked nicely for her... but she was lucky.]

It depends on what they're hiding. Sometimes you can feel like they shouldn't have kept a secret from you but they probably have their reasons. It's never the best way to do things, because the truth always comes out, but... [She shrugs.] I can't really speak for your meister though. If they have their reasons, you should ask them about it directly.
