Hm...doesn't it depend on the constitution of a person whether or not they get sick? I've never gotten sick! ( but childish giggles aside... )

Not that I think the idea of eating a soul sounds very good either way.

But anyways something like a soul probably isn't like a human body, right? A soul cannot be corrupted purely by something on the outside but rather it's a conscious decision to become corrupt.

Or perhaps the act of consuming the tainted souls purifies them. Who are we to say? This isn't our world. I doubt, however, the system here could ever have persisted if every weapon created eventually fell to the same evil that they are created to destroy.
