[Roughly at noon, the image of a slightly eerie-looking youth garbed like a priest flickers onto the network. Some might recognize him as Justin Law, one of the Death Scythes of Shibusen.]

In any case the ringleader is in no state to cause any harm at this time. They may, however, have more "brothers" currently unaccounted for.

They are troublesome children making idle threats. They need a strong hand and probably nothing more.

[He switches to a Private filter. This seems to be someone who is actually in the know.]
I am nonetheless concerned. Not for Shibusen, but for Death City's residents. Kadaj has made a lot of threats and been quite clear about his intentions to gain power by any means necessary. Even if that means joining the enemy.
Despite his claims, Shibusen does not hide anything about the nature of the war. My main concern regards what will happen when he learns of the Kishin. Neither Shibusen nor the Watch can be everywhere at once. We don't need another Adachi.
How likely is it that he would murder humans?

[He smiles quite innocently.]
Now, would I do something like that~?

Because he deserved it.

It was quite surprising. I did not expect someone with a soul so tainted by insanity to be capable of resonance. [Actually the whole fight was quite enlightening.]

Though I do promise that nocturnal explosions in Guest residences will not be a common occurrence.

[And then he sets the filter to Private. Since this one has demonstrated the ability to learn and ask relevant questions. A rare quality. One to encourage.]
There was a potential security risk to Master Shinigami and Death City as a whole. After dealing with the likes of Adachi and Jonathan Crane in the past, I felt it pertinent to resolve the matter decisively.

Did you kill him?

Not quite.
[Far too injured for any of the Guest medics, though.]

Ah, but Miss Azusa... he was already waiting for me, and he had a Weapon. [He shrugs, as if the matter was completely out of his hands.] Once shots were fired, what was I supposed to do?
[He ponders.] I was surprised an inexperienced soul damaged by insanity could resonate at all...

So, who's going to put the Communal back together?
