Technically. It's useless evidence. I don't - I don't really know what to do with it.

And you're thinking about setting up a shrine for it?

No, the shrine was incidental. Although it wouldn't be a bad idea...

Why would you keep garbage?

It's evidence. [useless evidence, but evidence all the same. the detective in Monk can't bear to part with it]

But you said it was garbage.

It's both. There's no point in what it proves, so it's trash. But - it still tells a story, so it's evidence.

I am Japanese. [She's peering curiously into the screen.] What kind of shrine are you trying to create?

[Tsubaki just nods in understanding.]

You don't need a lot to build a shrine. Most include things like candles, an incense burner, and perhaps a statue or two set upon an altar.

The fortune cat is likely our most recognizable symbol of good luck, though anything you associate with luck would be fine as well.

I do not know how to make a shrine.

Why do you want one?

[Hello Monk. This is a dragon. A real, living, breathing dragon that happens to speak with a neat, British accent. How will you react? ]

I have noticed that there are a good number of Japanese people. I am learning some of the language as well. However, I do not think I can help you when it comes to shrines.

As for the rubbish, why do you not simply throw it away in the appropriate place?
