I've been meaning to ask a question. It's mostly for the Shibusen staff, but I'd like to hear other opinions as well.

After a moment, after Rei gets herself under control, she leans herself up and over the back of the couch to try and kiss his cheek]

As it is indoors and you do not want to harm your residence or the person in question you are limited. You could create a simple frame, put marbles in it, and leave it in front of the door when you do not want him coming in. That is the safest option I can think of, and it is enough to make an impression.
