[It's early in the morning; probably around 2:30/3:00ish, and the voice function flicks on to soft crying.
Nightmares were something Lain was quite familiar with by now; though each of the three personality split up the trauma, neither knowing what happened to the other, when they dreamed the memories mixed.
It was for this reason none of them slept well. A couple hours of sleep only to be jarred away screaming and crying from the terrors that filled her sleep. She couldn't eat, or sleep, or--
No. That was a lie. Bold was good at pretending things didn't bother her; a much better actress than any of them. She could eat and eat and laugh, play, shop like it was nothing.
And Normal remained locked up safe and sound inside of herself. A prisoner in her own mind.
But it's Normal who speaks now, voice slurred with sleep and the heaviness of crying] ...I-I'm sorry...
Is anyone... Is anyone awake...? I can't sleep... I just want... Want a companion, for right now.
