[There's a slight tenseness in his spine at the mention of 'wandering hands', just small enough that it'd be un-noticeable... if it wasn't for how close she's sitting.]

Nothing much. Things are busy with Mustang out, but nothing worth talking about.

[Minako bumps the edge of her helmet very gently into Shinjiro's shoulder, before patting his side.]

It's okay. Nura-san gave me a load of hints for dealing with people like that. They're very effective, and pretty fun as well.

... Oh yeah, Mustang-san got injured didn't he? [She's seen the posts on the network.] Did they have to reschedule some shifts?

[A small grunt at that, and he starts up the engine and starts off.]

Yeah, I'm still at the same place though.

[Minako tightens her arms before peering over Shinjiro's shoulder as they head off.]

Yeah. I don't mind working nights. Kanaya takes care of the apartment during the day. [Which is funny to him: all the other trolls seem to dislike the daylight...]

That works out well. [She can't help but ask, grinning slightly behind Shinjiro's shoulder.] Has she started decorating the place, yet?

[A groan] A pillow here, some fabric there... half the time I'm paying for it too.

[There's a pause.]

She seems like the sort of person who knows what she's doing with that sort of thing. She'll do a good job.

[... Yeah. Minako can't really see Shinjiro standing his ground, telling her to stop and really meaning it.]

Not as far as I know... but I can afford it. [Is that a slight tone of affection? Naaah...]

Yeah i guess so. Wouldn't know either way, but... it's colorful. Not bad.

Minako chuckles slightly.]

I'm sure it's nice. Maybe she could make a job out of decorating people's flats?

[Detaching herself from Shinjiro's waist, Minako slides off the moped and tugs off the helmet.]

I've heard good things about it, at least. [She shoots a vaguely amused, slightly pointed look at Shinjiro.]

Besides, would you rather eat in the free diner?

[Appreciative as people are of the free food... it's still free, and you can't expect a whole lot from that.]

[He pulls a face that exposes all he thinks about THAT.] Not the worst I've had, I guess... [Helmet off, and distracted by his convo with Minako he doesn't remember to pull his hat out of his coat pocket.]

[She can't help but chuckle a little at that face. It pretty much says it all.]

Better than instant ramen cups though?

[Still smiling, she follows behind him - not pointing out the lack of beanie for now. It'll be interesting to see how it takes him to realise he's not wearing it, and she kinda likes him without the hat too.]

Anything is better then that instant crap. [He huffs lightly, as if the existence of such things is a personal insult, before hitting the door with his shoulder and leaning on it while Minako enters]
