Time travel, is it?

I wonder if the future they experienced was that of this timeline exactly, or if it was an offshoot. Another timeline entirely, perhaps, another Death City?

That doesn't change that it could have existed, still might.

Time travel is like the multiverse. One change might create a split, but there is a possibility of it joining up with the original, or even just having the same outcome.
