This is repetitive, aru.

[a short silence. levelly,]

... I have found Ash Ketchum's hat. What a sad thing to lose. Aa--

Dawn, was it? If you would, do come and collect it.

[aaand another, longer ensuring silence. sharper,]I have a question, again. How long will it be before those here would be willing to think these people dead? Or those ( Read more... )

Perhaps the kidnapping victims are in danger of it, but those from the Madness are not dead.

You'd be surprised. But you're an oddly cruel person, aren't you? Where we come from, Yuuri and I are in a situation where we can't see each other as often as we'd like, and most of the time we have to be countries apart. Should I think of him as dead except for when we're together, then?

Cruel for speaking of this, perhaps. But you know that is not what I mean-- do not pretend to be duller than you are, aru. [not harshly, just... resigned. matter-of-fact.]

Time and land are very different things. Mountains can be moved, but time doesn't care about faith.

[A very slight lift of the eyebrows at the comment on his intelligence, but he says nothing on the matter.]

Times is more forgiving than you seem to believe, I think. After all, so many are taken from different points in time when coming here, yet things seem to have a way of working out after all. And I've heard that when we return home, we'll be returning to the same point we left from, with no worry of time spent here.

If that's possible...well, I don't believe that Yuuri will ever just accept being trapped anywhere away from those he cares about, even if it's another time. He'll do whatever it takes to return to this time, and if they can control the time they are sent to, then I should think they would aim for as close to "now" as possible.

Perhaps time doesn't care about faith, but generally I don't either. I've no faith in the others that were lost, or in whoever's time-traveling abilities caused the mess. I only know that Yuuri will come back.

If they could control the time they were sent to and return, I would hope that they would soon. Or maybe the BREW still has a hold on him -- with that, they could simply be sent home from wherever they are now. Who knows? Perhaps their rooms will remain full, since they are not part of this line any longer.

I suppose we should be glad the woman can only jump time, and not dimensions. Aa...

But if they return home, they will forget here. Hard to wish to return to a place you do not even know existed. [a beat.] Maybe it would be better to hope that you return to your world, where he will be, than for him to return here?

...Yuuri can jump dimensions. But regardless, he's still alive and either way, I'll see him again. So I would recommend against writing them off so easily.

[a placid hum.]

You will see him, yes. You will, however, say nothing for the others?

Should I? I don't know any of them. Isn't it enough that I'm worrying over one person, or should I be panicking for all of them?

That is a 'no,' then?

I do hope he returns here. It would be nice to see him again, previous memories or not.

... May I ask - did the times you both came from match?

No. He actually came from a time before we'd even met. But Yuuri is kind, and trusting -- he believed me easily when I explained things to him, and he's just as good a friend as I knew him to e back home.

That is good.

[but yet, a pause.]

... It seems as if worlds are calling their inhabitants back more now, however.

Are they? I haven't noticed.

Yes. There used to be a good number from your world, I thought.

There was. Most of them weren't fond of me, however, so I can't claim to have been very upset by their leaving.
