[The video clicks on to show a rather ragged looking Bel sitting in what appears to be an alley somewhere. The dried blood stains covering his shirt not really helping the sight.

Even still, that grin is there, though strained and tired.]

I'm up for getting wasted if you are. Me, Mammon and the dynamite brat are all accounted for. I got separated from them though.

[That slight action could have been Bel shaking his head. Or, if one wanted to think of something a bit more impossible, could have been him nuzzling Squalo's neck in an idle comforting moment.]

[So it's okay. Right? Right. Squalo lands on the balcony a few minutes later, twitching a bit and trying not to let Bel fall.]

Couch or bed?

[It's a bit of a science to open the door, but Squalo manages.]

[A slight mumble and Bel finally looked up from Squalo's neck to give a small grin.]

Ah~ Do you really want me to get the bed all bloody~? Couch is fine.

[...that was oddly considerate. Squalo said nothing as he carefully moved to drop Bel at the couch, but figured it'd been a good idea to contact Watson already. He let Bel settle on the couch and gave the apartment a look of mild disdain. It was a mess, as usual.]

I'll talk with Watson, try not to finish bleeding to death. He'll be here soon.

[And if Squalo's hand happened to brush past the crown of Bel's head, much like it used to when he was a kid. That. Was totally an accident and unintentional. Meaningless, really.

Squalo went over to fetch some first aid supplies from the bathroom, shove away some of the clothes on the floor and talk with Watson on the Network.]

[Watson doesn't lose time getting there. Hey, at least the clinic is very near, so it's just a matter of getting to Squalo's apartment. Rings the doorbell, stands outside in all his old man glory.]

[Squalo had gotten the first aid kit and made a pile out of Bel's clothes on the floor, putting them out of the way. He walked over to the door, once he'd dealt with the rest of his messages and checked up on the family.]

Hey.

[He said, upon opening the door and stepping back to let Watson inside.]

He's on the couch.

[He reached a hand to hold Watson's arm, though, frowning a bit, eyes serious.]

He bites.

[So watch out.]

[Raises an eyebrow. Right, NOW you warn him?]

If I cane him and promise to heal him after, is that acceptable? [But he's just kidding.]

[Squalo grins.]

And if he kills you, he's grounded and going to bed without dinner.

[That's said in a playful tone, but loud enough Bel had to have heard him.]

I'm quite flattered that I'm worth a dinner and a grounding. [Still teasing, but he walks over to the couch now to look over the patient.

My, what fluffy hair you have.]

[Still half out of it, at the sight of a stranger Bel's grin widens. His hand twitches, wishing for a knife of some sort but he manages to restrain himself a little. Yes he heard that quip about dinner, and yes he is very hungry. So, this one lives. For now.]

Shishishi... You're the one Squalo wants to take care of me~? Not much to you, is there~?

You heard the man. [mostly amused, but he's rather fearlessly (borne out of ignorance, perhaps) reaching down to inspect Bel's injuries, noting the angle of the scores and--]

Self-inflicted? [curious, just curious, and pulling his medical bag to himself to rummage through supplies]

[He makes a faint annoyed noise but other than that seems to silently agree to behaving despite how hard it is to suppress the recently awakened bloodlust. The open wounds being visible really wasn't helping.]

[Squalo hovered for a moment, while trying to stay out of Watson's way. Then as the wounds were undressed, Squalo reached his flesh hand into Bel's bangs, to cover his eyes. He sat at the arm of the couch, not quite offering Bel his thigh to rest on, but intent on being distracting.]

He's got his moments.

[Squalo told Watson, grinning wryly, if fondly down at the Prince. That the fondness was fairly blatant in his tone was unusual on its own.]

[The action from Squalo is unexpected, and a bit of surprise shows on Watson's face at the entire tenderness of it. My, he didn't think you had it in you. How very endearing! Yes, his face says that, too.]

Oh, I can very much relate, having taken a knife to my own thigh in the middle of madness myself. [mildly, reaching for the usual implements to clean the wounds. He should stitch them, but healing is better, he supposed. Shouldn't take that much energy... But first:]

Squalo, would you suggest that I allow this young man to wield me as a weapon?
