A meister, which is the wielder of the weapon and who has an ability to help them be better in battle. Then there is the weapon, who can transform into a certain weapon type with something unique about them.

You can try and find someone who is good with telling the difference between the two. The people I know who are decent at it are Watanuki, Professor Stein, and Maka.
