The problem is, something...happened. I don't know what will happen if we're separated. This whole thing is new to me and--I just don't think it'd be good for me to be here very long. She might get hurt. She might already be hurt. I don't know if time stopping would do anything to prevent that.

Not that anyone seems to be aware. Disappearances seem to be random, and one can return at any moment, with or without memory of his last stay.

I guess, basically, you don't really understand the deal of being in a place like this and not being able to go home. If they could send us home, I'm pretty sure they would have already. So going home is not something that can be threatened to happen. Capiche?
