I may be a naysayer, but the truth is not so simple. To report on anything, one need to remove themselves from the situation without bias. There is no way that children can do such a thing. They will only see the truths that they wish to see and nothing else. Unfortunate.
I, myself, am glad for no news one way or the other. What good would it be to know that one-thousand people died? Would that make the world seem brighter? Would it grant peace to the minds of those that died? Would it make this war seem like it were that more hopeless, or would it bring determination? Either way, it is pointless.
The only truths that a person should seek are the ones that they create for themselves and not force onto others.
I'm not a child, and I'm not forcing anything on anybody. My father is the editor of The Quibbler, you know, and he taught me how to have a magazine. [Which she is very proud of, thank you.]
The truth isn't often what we'd like it to be, but shading our eyes from it will only make things more difficult in the end.
So, he taught you his trade and you believe that you can do the same from a few chats? [ Eyebrow raise. ] You are a child. But then, everyone is in this city, it seems. Hardly an insult when you look around.
Did you listen to what I said, or just pull your own interpretation as to what it is I was telling you and ignoring the truth I said to you?

I have never written for anything, and I do not think I would be good at it, but I can give reports when I am on missions.

Oh no, on the contrary, things are probably worse than we think.
