What does a ... "security guard" do exactly?

It's not very hard. If you take the night position, you have to guard the place from intruders, in case anyone would break in. I doubt that'd happen though, so it should be fairly easy.

The day guard is much the same. I'll be there during most of the day anyway, but I need someone to keep an eye out on anyone who comes in, in case anyone tries to steal my photographs or damages them.

If someone does you'd have to subdue them and contact-- Well, I'd assume the Watch.

[There's a pause and she smiles] I could always use another assistant, too, if that'd be more your preference.

[there's a pause in his reply as he thinks over this. nope, he doesn't want to, but she's at least mildly tolerable. Mildly. ]

I've never had a job before. Never needed one. But it's become apparent that I need a little ... money to get by around this place.

More interested in the night job than the day one. What does an assistant do and how much would I have to actually tolerate your incessant talking?

Well, as my assistant I'd usually be teaching you how to do photography, showcasing your works, showing you how to develop film, and helping you build a portfolio; but seeing as I doubt you're interested in that...

You'd be required to help run the gallery when I'm away on missions, help me with research, and occasionally help me move equipment or put pictures up. You'd be splitting the work with Ritsuka, so it wouldn't be too hard.

[She looks a little amused] When I'm working I don't talk much at all, so probably you wouldn't have to put up with much.

Oh! [A little embarrassed Rei hastily wipes off the communicator] He's always grumpy.

I do not! I feel like I likely don't have enough time between the Watch, the clinic, and Naruto and Sasuke-kun.

[She glances to the dog, amused] I'll hazard a guess and say Sasuke? Do you think they look a little alike?

[now imagine a loafdgo!sasuke, Sakura. Rei already is and clearly fighting a giggle to keep up the pretense of a semi-serious discussion]

Pets are a bit of a handful. [But her expression is warm and she tucks loafdog under her arm again, where he oozes and hangs, apparently comfortable] And boys even more so, so it might be for the best.
