I know I haven't been there much myself, but you're not in the apartment anymore.

[he frowns at that expression, almost feeling guilty, but he holds steady well enough.]

...You're aware of what happened, aren't you? I'm sorry, I do wish I could have spoken to you about it beforehand, but I could hardly stay there with him around.

[He moves to say something in return. His mouth opens, and the beginning of a word starts to come out, but then Yuuri stops and he seems to fall back against the chair. Sara definitely had a point, but there was some part of him that wished that his friend had come to him. Well, it's not like he had been the best of friends given how busy he'd been, so he couldn't fault Sara on that either.]

[he hesitates for a moment, seeing yuuri's face and his obvious disappointment despite he answer, and the human king sighs, losing some of his ingrained good posture in favor of leaning against the table on his elbows looking a bit dejected.]

[he glances up with a soft smile, turning his hands under yuuri's so he could lace their fingers together.]

Stop it, you haven't done anything worth apologizing for. You've been working hard helping people. That's certainly a noble enough excuse for having been busy recently. Besides, you have nothing to worry about.

[A flash of relief rolled through him as he felt Sara reciprocating the hand contact. It didn't settle him entirely though, since he still felt as though he should have done more, but he was feeling a little less on edge because of it.]

[yo! just dropping in a line to say that I'll be on a roadtrip from now until the next five days (so Monday night!). I'm not sure if I'll get net access at the hotel or not yet, so I don't know if I'll be able to post there. I will have to see!]

Not really. I should be, but...well, I've gotten so used to living with others that I suppose I'm a little reluctant to just find a place on my own. Perhaps I should find a new partner first...
