My partner, Grit, and I returned to Death City via Linz yesterday, due to injuries we sustained in Lucerne. We will return to our shifts as soon as we've fully recovered.

Was the situation in Lucerne and Linz truly so terrible?

[Ah.] I'm not actually in the clinic... I decided to recover at home instead. [It was close enough to the truth, anyway.]

Unfortunately, yes. I was stationed at the Lucerne base, which fell to the kishin eggs and... some other creature that seemed to be the leader of the attack. I was sent back here shortly after, so I don't know all of the details yet myself.
