[Mary's wearing a festive red dress with a white faux fur collar. She has her hair down and flowing as she smiled brightly into the camera.] So, who would like to exchange gifts? I've been working on some things for people in my spare time, [Which, if you know her you would know it isn't much between tutoring and work.] and I would be more than ( Read more... )

Of course you shall, my dear. [warmly; despite recent events, it's difficult be anything but warm with Mary Weather.]

[Mary's trying to be warm because of them. It's good to have some warmth when the rest of the world seems to be going cold.]

Oh, I am glad!

There was mention of me staying the night, but I am not sure what is to happen with that.

I don't see why not. [since she's a child, anyway. Nothing wrong with that.] We shall prepare bedding for you, of course.

[But it's going to be a party where Nataku and Mary Weather are probably cooking. Holmes and Watson are such old men.]

[She is more than happy to cook! It might not be the best meal ever, but it will be passable at least. She had more experience with starches and vegetables than meat.]

Oh, thank you so much Watson! [She looked absolutely elated by this news. She had been scared to face either Christmas eve or Christmas day alone. Not after having hoped to get to spend it with Cain.]

I absolutely can't wait!

You look rather lovely today, Miss Hargreaves.

And a tea party sounds nice.

Thank you Mr. Battour!

I will be glad to have you for tea! I also have something for you. It is not anything terribly special, but I do hope you will like it.

[We're having guests? Wonderful.]

If Nataku and Watson have agreed, I suppose the invitation has been set.

Oh, I presume you are Mr. Holmes. It is lovely to finally be able to put a face to the name, Mr. Holmes. I am Mary Weather.

I am glad that you do not mind, but perhaps you might be willing to accept an invitation for lunch? It would be terrible manners of me to not introduce myself more formally before taking advantage of your company.

Never presume anything, my dear. I am Sherlock Holmes.

I hold very little need for manners.

[But Watson would be rather upset if he wasn't nice so...gruffly have an answer.]

But I suppose I will accept your invitation.

I will be glad to have you. Someone who Nataku and Watson considers a friend, I am happy to invite to my home.

When is a good time for you?
