[Morning Training!]

Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and this time it's happening December 31st, in-game.

[It's no surprise to find her here. She's also training with a rifle and revolver just to make sure she's not getting rusty. Of course, she's here for Resonance training as well. Disturb her?]

[it's been a while for Choushiro, in retrospect longer than he'd like to admit, but he winds his way toward the shooting range half out of curiousity, and draws up next to Naoto simply to see what's going on.]

I didn't realize there was a shooting range...

[he's addressing her, but his comment is so offhand that should she choose, she could ignore it.]

[Naoto shoots a few more rounds before standing up and nodding]

I didn't know at first either.

[he openly admires her work, standing a polite distance away, hands loose at his sides.]

I was beginning to think everything here was hand to hand.

Only if I'm disarmed will I resort to hand to hand. My stature makes it a very poor fallback though.

[he smiles a little.]

Height shouldn't make a difference.

[pishirogane]

You would be surprised...

[She clears her throat] Anyway, would you like to shoot some targets?

[moonlighttag]

[he looks at her as she speaks, square in the face. it was true that height could make a difference, but it could also be what won a fight. he wasn't sure whether to be bemused or concerned with her reaction.

he blinks, before realizing he's meant to respond.]

Oh, I'm out of practice but yes, I think so...

I only have the rifle and revolver with me. Which one would you prefer to use?

[moonlighttag]

I think the revolver is more like what I'm used to...

[pishirogane]

[A nod and she hands him the training revolver.]

[he levels the weight of the weapon in his hand, looking down at the firearm with no small amount of curiousity. it was different from the make of what he was used to, but the principle remained the same.

he cups it with one hand and raises his arm straight, head cocked, and he fires a few perfectly aimed rounds. --and then looks somewhat surprised at himself.]

[Naoto just stands to the side, watching with the rifle by her side. Not bad at all...]
