Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and this time it's happening December 31st, in-game.

Hello, sir. Your advice about self-resonating really helped a lot. I can use Soul Menace or Soul Force a lot better than before.
[Has she been practicing obsessively since he gave her that advice? Why yes, yes she has.]

Instead, Stein gets to see a kata in the Hyuuga clan style, Gentle Fist. The energy flow of her soul wavelength is steady as she goes through the fluid and elegant motions, sparking at the points where she'd be making impact on an opponent.]

Very good. Looks like you've really improved. Keep practicing. Make sure to try different fighting styles. You should be able to hone it to the point of making a serious weapon of your own soul.
I'd try resonating with a weapon while using it. Test the amount of power you can push forward.

[She's sincerely curious. She has learned the basic taijutsu that's taught at the Konoha Academy as well, and she knows she could ask Gai or Lee for some help, too. Tenten has offered to help her with using any weapon she is interested in learning.]
And is it harder to self-resonate while resonating with a Weapon?

No, it's easier. Resonating with a Weapon means creating one powerful wavelength between the two of you. It amplifies your natural wavelength and makes the Menace much more powerful and more difficult to recover from.
If you can't resonate with them and use your soul ability, the resonance is bad and you need a different partner.

Is it possible to use it defensively, too? My clan has a technique called 'Kaiten' that can deflect attacks - even attacks with shuriken or other weapons.
