[Dante could feel the hum of the madness wavelength on the edge of his senses, making his blood sing with anticipation of the coming battle.]

Finally, we're going to get some action.

[Being in Liechtenstein was boring, he was glad when they were shuffled to Lucerne to help out there.]

[Date feels the Madness as well, but its a constant itch on the edge of his senses. He manages to ignore it for the most part, keeping it shuffled away at the corners of his senses as he tightens his hold on Dante.]

Let's take out as many as we can. [Less enemies mean more chance of a victory, and after having evacuated like earlier Date's more than ready to deal some serious damage to their enemies.]

It's only just the beginning. [Quickly moving onto the next kishin now, slamming it down with a well-timed Million Stab just as it attempts to jump them.] Breakdown!

Goes without saying. [Hey, Date's being equally cocky here so they're just about the same. He pushes on with their attack, never faltering and never relenting.]

[Rarghlklsj I don't know what to tag with any more.

They continue to cleave a path through the mass of kishin easily. It's ridiculously easy, but hey easy is good for everyone because it means that they're likely to be able to successfully defend the base.]

[Dante with his different sense of perception sees it coming and instinctively calls out even knowing that Date won't be able to do anything in time. Without thinking he transforms back so that instead of a sword, Date is left holding his arm and he pushes Date out of the way.

The kishin's claws pierces his side and it's only because Dante wasn't standing where Date was that it goes where it does.]

[Date hears the warning, and he whirls around, eye widening in shock as he sees the kishin coming closer--

Then suddenly he's flying to the ground, grunting as he lands, and Date looks up just in time to see Dante getting attack and then the world seems to freeze for a second.]

Dante! [A shout, as he picks himself up and instantly dashes towards the kishin, fist already swinging even though it was most likely not going to work.]
