Takuto stared down at the piles and piles of roman candles and mortars and boxes of things that were supposed to spin and make screaming noises. He really was a fan of fireworks.

He held a flashlight over the boxes, and wondered where the fireworks team should start first. Maybe they should have a giant rainbowy explosion as the finale? He started picking things up and inspecting their labels.

Oh, I see. Things are going great here!

How's the rest of the festival, uh, organization-wise? [Takuto seems to more or less do his thing pretty cluelessly. He's only helping with the fireworks because they're pretty, fun to do with friends, and shine in the night sky. And each of those qualities were perhaps his favorites, and to put them together... well, it was something he couldn't resist.]

[His own attempt to figure out if it worked had been just that--an attempt. And he was pretty sure if he tried that again, he'd get slapped in the face again. Besides, the incident had made him start thinking about things he'd never really questioned before and thus he was spending many long (and cold) hours on his balcony every evening staring up at the sky as if it had the answers. Well, I don't think I'd kiss anyone I didn't want to kiss....

[And as soon as the words are out of his mouth his face reddens. Given recent events, what on earth did that statement really mean? He had wanted to kiss.... He shakes his head suddenly and tries to follow along with Zhang's words about his army.]

Working together is of course important for an army.
