[Tomoe had barely been in Death City a full week. Going to a festival may have seemed out of place with all that she was trying to work through--but it seemed like a good distraction. And perhaps there was a note of curiosity there as well. Any break, however small, from the oppression of her own thoughts was a good thing, right?]
