After spending the morning attempting a resonance, Nill had wanted to check in on Asch. On her way back to the apartment she knew he was meant to be resting at, it was still early after all, Nill caught sight of the back of a familiar red head. Wasn't he supposed to be in bed? What was he doing up? And walking around outside, at that! With a fretful flutter of her short wings, Nill was suddenly running toward Luke. He had to be in bed, he had to be getting better. This was unacceptable, and even if she couldn't drag him back herself, she would certainly do her best to convince him to return.

Once she caught up, Nill reached out a small hand to grab his but hesitated, blinking at the bandages and sling. This wasn't how she last left Asch; did that dragon come back and try to eat him? Panic overtook and Nill, frazzled and worrying, began to fuss over the injuries and check the bandages immediately.

Luke stopped easily when suddenly there was a sweet looking blonde with wings fussing over his arm. His meds were only just starting to set in so he was still fairly coherent, but despite that all he can do is watch her for a few moments, blinking owlishly.

"Hi there..." he says finally, his voice sounding rather curious. "Can I help you?"

Her eyes snapped up when he spoke, hands frozen mid-worry over the sling. He didn't recognize her? Or, at closer inspection, she didn't recognize him. Something was off and unfamiliar, but she leaned in for a longer, more intent stare. He didn't look as... rough as usual, maybe that was all it was. But then why didn't Asch greet her like he normally did? This wasn't like him, and somehow it still was, but how could it be-

Nill was just confusing herself more and that train of thought had to stop. Asch just wasn't being Asch. Finally the girl took a small step back, her gaze almost accusing and suspicious.

"Hi..." He said to the girl, once she had stepped back away from him, having submitted to the inspection willingly. He really had no idea what was going on, and as cute as the girl was she was starting to kind of freak him out a bit. Was there something terribly wrong? What was going on?
