Characters: OPEN to new arrivals and NPCS. Where: En route to Casualty Communal Rating: Gen Time: November 7, Afternoon Description: And even more people!
[ he's hearing things all right, but not really listening. this couldn't be right. it can't be right. he has things he needs to do! time is running short and he can't NOT fulfill his promise.
being here means that THEY could finish things and then... and then he wouldn't be able to stop them. then what. how could he face HER after that?
there's that white hot anger coming back at full force. what's his natural reaction?
to throw that communicator on the floor with all the force he can muster. ]
We don't know why the BREW does what it does! [doth protest! But he's not going to do anything else apart from hold the communicator back out to Roxas.] But it's not like -- you get much of a choice. I mean, you can choose not to fight with us, but you can't leave this place.
It's all right! The more violent ones usually go for a punch or two, so feel free. XDdaddyscytheApril 25 2011, 17:49:42 UTC
[Spirit's eyebrows raise.]
What, you think we haven't tried to do anything about this? [impatiently thrusts the communicator at Roxas' chest.] We've tried a lot of things to the BREW, but it just never listens. Sometimes it'll send someone back, sometimes it'll even drag that same person in here again, but it always does what it does.
Right. [holds the communicator back, but he's not shoving it at Roxas' face this time.]
Look, kid. [awkward... scratches the back of his neck.] I'm sorry you had to be taken here. You seem like you have something important back home to do like a war of your own, or a fight. That's the case with a lot of people here, actually. [glances at the volunteers around him. Well, maybe not this bunch.] But no amount of arguing with me will change the situation. If you help us, we might win this war faster. Otherwise, we'll do our best to protect you.
[ where has he heard this one before? oh right... forgive him if he is a little skeptical about all that. protect him? yeah, right. he doesn't actually believe that one bit. ]
The BREW's really quirky, so... Well, anyway, you should either be a meister here or a weapon. A partnership between both is about the only thing that can really damage the kind of enemies we get here, so you're not as weaponless as you think! For example, I'm a weapon. [cue arm not holding that communicator turning into a pretty large scythe blade.]
Well, you see, the meister wields the weapon and the weapon is a human who turns into a weapon form. Like me. [shakes the blade a little, before turning it back into an arm.] Meister have different abilities that usually help them in battle. Weapons, too. So you're not really as helpless here as you think. I guess it just... adapted to the world?

Careful with this. [:C It's pretty indestructible, but it can still get scratched and stuff.]

And you think we should just accept that!? That just makes it magically all right and we just have to deal!?

[ what can he do? nothing, really. he knows this, but doesn't like it. life isn't fair! :'(
instead of a reply, it's just silence, looking down at the ground angrily. his fists are clutched tightly at his sides in frustration. ]

[ it's... nothing he hasn't really seen before. Nobodies and Heartless are all different. something like that isn't unusual so he's not impressed. ]
I seriously don't get what you're trying to tell me.
[ frustrated, yes. clueless? OH YES. ]
