[And in the flood of new folks in the network, here's a familiar face to a good lot of you. For the rest, however, have a military-looking chap with dark hair and an eye patch. He appears to be leaning against the side of an office desk cluttered with documents. He smiles at the feed; it's a swift gesture. Clearly, he means business this time.]
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the new people who came in the other day. My name is Roy Mustang, and I'm the Head of Death City's Office for General Security, and Commander of the Watch. Got a bit of an important announcement for all of you.
Nearly two weeks back, Shibusen granted Sarah Kerrigan and I permission to leave Death City and attempt to locate a witch base. As those of you who have been present in the city before yesterday would know, we managed to return in one piece.
[Now he's turning around, reaching out to pull down a map of the Grand Canyon. There are appropriate labels, pins and the like.]
The witch base we found is located in Horsehoe Bend. After some discussion with Shibusen's faculty, we've come up with a battle plan. [A pause, as he's picking his notebook up from the desk, flipping to the right page, and reading from it.] On November 26 - three days from now - we'll be assembling a force and attacking the base directly. We're going to need a large group of fighters for the frontal assault, volunteers for people to move into the base and stir up a ruckus, and folks well-versed in planting bombs. While our fighters and strikers distract our enemies, the bomb squads are going to plant charges around the base. We're also hoping to capture the witch commander of the base alive.
There's a more detailed break down of the strategy and other notes regarding the operation up on the mission board - there will also be a running list of the people who plan on signing up posted in the same place. Shibusen, of course, fully supports this plan and will be providing people to help us out both in Arizona and back in the city while some of us are out there fighting. [Shuts notebook with a flick of his wrist.] We've done something similar to this before, in Michigan. I have it in good faith that we'll make it out of this one just fine if we all pull together and make it happen.
