[Still not being used to the communicator, she fumbles with it and can't seem to focus it on her face.]

[She sighs as it got cut off. Again. What? She got too worked up and it made it even harder for her to use.]

If it is, I'm so glad you're safe. ..I was worried thinking I wouldn't...be..[Her voice becomes significantly smaller] able to see any of you again.

[His expression changes, becoming one of relief at hearing her voice and seeing her face. It mattered a lot to him, you have no idea - Natsu and the others could take care of themselves but if Lucy was killed because he wasn't there... He manages a smile for her sake, pushing those thoughts away for now.]

I'm glad you're safe too, Lucy. Everyone else would be happy to know as well if I could contact them. [He pauses. He can see she's safe but he needs to know she's actually here and not an illusion.] Which room did they give you?

[It was honestly reassuring to have Loki there. It translated into a variety of things for her. But, most importantly, it meant that her spirits were all probably safe. Heaving a sigh of relief, she smiled back a little sheepishly.]

[She almost feels compelled to hug him, but she refrains as she's still just a little freaked out.]

So this is what they called mixed feelings..[Well, at least he wasn't the breaking and entering type like Natsu.]
