[Once the video feed turns on, you can see the image moving and shaking. You may catch a glimpse of a black cape, but the owner seems to have some trouble with the communicator, as he keeps turning it over in his hands.]

…Like this…?

Welcome back. I suppose you don't remember your previous stay here?

No, I do not.

May I know who this is?

Ah. I see.

[ It's actually obvious, but he's just making sure. ]

I'm Iceland, the Republic of Iceland. Or Eiríkur, if you'd like. It's nice to re-meet you, Raidou.

...Nice to meet you.

Pardon me, but... You are the Republic of Iceland? [This is new.]

Yeah. I'm the country, not named after it. There's some other countries here.

[ Well, he's used to explaining by now. ]

I... see.

[He's never heard of anything like that - but then, demons and gods are often personifications of things, aren't they? It wouldn't be that surprising that there would be personifications of countries.]

I apologize if I came off as rude. I have never encountered a country.

That's okay. It's the same with everyone else. [ Aside from getting used to explaining, he'd also believed that his kind doesn't exist anywhere else. There's some pause. ] Anyway, to answer your request: which one do you want first? Death City, Shibusen, or the war efforts?

I have been told about the war, so... I believe I would like to hear more about Shibusen. I saw a few of their people during the tour, but I don't know much about what they do.

Basically, they educate children who's either a Meister or a Weapon and, since our arrival, they educate us, as well. But it's not just a school, it's also there to protect the world from Witches and stuff. Though, thanks to the war, it had become the main and only force battling the Witches. [ Slight pause. ] Does it clear things up?

It does. Thank you.

There is no one else fighting the war? What of the rest of the world, then - is the war isolated here, or is Shibusen in charge of keeping peace everywhere else as well?

You don't need to thank me.

[ And he switched the video feed on so the other can see him. It's partly because he wanted to know whether his appearance rings a bell or not. Of course, the answer is most likely not, but trying doesn't hurt. ]

No, the war is all over the world, and everyone is fighting it. But they've been eliminated by unknown forces or defeated by the Witches. Or so we've been told. And that's why Shibusen is in charge of keeping the peace everywhere.

[No bells ringing, sorry.]

I see... [So everyone else has been defeated... That's worrying.]

[ That's okay, he expected that, anyway. He was just curious. There's some pause and some staring. ]

Any other question?

[ That's beyond worrying, actually. But well, Iceland can't do anything about it. ]

Just one more for now. What can you tell me about the Kishin?

[Assuming this is after the thread with Rei, he already knows about Witches - now he needs to know about the other enemy.]

[ Pause; he's trying to compose a decent explanation. ]

It's the demon god. It started out as a Kishin Egg, which we eliminate in missions, then, if it managed to stuff itself with enough souls of innocent people, it morphed into a Kishin. Like a Weapon, when you managed to feed it ninety-nine Kishin Eggs and one Witch soul, it'll turn into a Death Scythe. Except that it's evil. These Kishin Eggs can took many forms. I'd just defeat one who had the body of a mummy and a head of a crocodile a while ago. Anyway, the last known Kishin was Asura.

[Hmm... So Weapons have to eat Kishin eggs to gain power. That doesn't sound very healthy.]

I believe I understand. Thank you [...How should he address you--] Eirikur-san.
