Video//December 21st
[The feed comes at an upward angle, mostly picking up Tomoe’s neck and shoulders. What little can be seen behind her appears to be foliage, clearly stating that she is outside somewhere, and before she even has a chance to speak or direct the feed more toward her face, a loud high pitched eerie yip comes over the audio. She swallows thickly, the motion clearly caught on the feed, which finally turns up toward her face as she glances stiffly down at it to confirm its recording, before looking in front of her again. She jumps minutely as the sound repeats, the tendons standing out on her neck as she tries to hide the reaction, though the distinct note of fear in her eyes is beginning to make its way through.
I’m on the edge of the park… [her voice is painstakingly quiet, attention still in front of her and not on the device.] There is…. something out here… [She jerks again as the yip repeats. There is a tremble to the video, suggesting her hand is shaking and the sound comes again.] What… what is this…? [Despite her attempt at keeping her voice even the fear is audible and she begins to turn the device outward to display whatever is in front of her.]
[The feed picks up a pathway through the park (perhaps a little too wooded to be traveling through alone) and the figure of a large canine some 25 feet ahead of her-for any who would recognize it, it appeared to be a coyote, though far bigger than it should have been with eyes that were gleaming of their own accord. Of course, this is if someone could recognize it in the very brief time it was on the feed. As soon as the device began to turn the taunting yips ceased, replaced by a harsh snarl and a flash of over-large teeth before it lunged forward--]
[There are no additional words from Tomoe and only the jumble as the device is dropped in favor of running, but not before--]

[ooc; Tomoe is on the very north-east edge of the city where we have a mod-approved kishin egg and a weak point where the madness wavelength is coming through. The plan is for Kenshin and Kaoru to wind up on the scene first and… crazy things happening. Our focus is on the crazy things and less on the kishin egg, so if anyone wants to show up on their heels to take care of Mr. Coyote that’s fine! I think we're winging that part a bit... hur... >_> Tomoe… will probably not be replying to this… at all…]
