I didn't realize Mitch Miller was still alive. Oops. Well, now he isn't.

I saw him at Chicago's 3rd of July celebration (do they still do their fireworks on the 3rd, bibliogrrl?) when I was probably nine or ten. I used to put on the Sing Along With Mitch records my parents had and . . . well . . . sing along! I didn't realize he was such a controversial

I suppose it would be, but where do neighborhoods set them off? At least the city could do them over the lake.
