Nope. Thanks for pointing it out.

Of course, the agency that handles our area is an hour and a half drive from where I work, and you have to actually go in to fill out forms. That means missing most of a day of work, if not all of it. But, if it sounds like it's worth it, I'll just have to take a day off.

You know what it's like living out in the boonies. Everything is far away. It's only about a 45 minute drive from where we live, but I work in the opposite direction.

I hadn't seen the title of the poem before today. That just makes it better. Except for the subject matter, of course.

She's preaching to choir, here. And, simply put, isn't what she asks is just an extension of the common courtesy & consideration that a properly raised soul would extend to any one?

Can't we all just get along?

If that's what she's asking for, she isn't offering the same courtesy in exchange. She assumes that any man who approaches her is likely to be a rapist, and expects her treating them like shit because of her assumption to be accepted as a matter of course.

If she wants to act that way, that's up to her, but I think that's just asking to be lonely.
