Largely just about what his life has been like since arriving in Mayfield. Feel free to interrupt his one sided conversation at any point.]

[Chie is a little out of it, considered...well, she was shot, and she hasn't spoken to anyone about it, really. She finds herself staring at Kyon absentmindedly, and decides to speak up before he notices her with a goofy look on her face.]

Oh. Hey. That cat yours?

(Well, arguably, you could probably call him my sister's, but she's not here, so...)

What's his name? I didn't know they had a pet store in town.

His name is Shamisen, he's from home.

[Someone stops by wearing a new and rather enveloping black coat. She sits down without a word to Kyon, sitting beside him but not nestling up. Just there.]

Yeah, pretty much. ... Nice coat.

[She begins to eat a rather boring looking ham-sandwich prepared by her drone mother.]

Hey Kyon... is that animal really a person or can you talk to animals too?

Well it's not like talking to animals is all that difficult. Getting them to talk back is the hard part.

[Would he like him to? Yuki will slowly blink from a distance at her familiar for a moment or two.]

[He'll hold Shamisen out for her. She's free to grab him herself if she likes.]

[She will nod stiffly before lightly stepping over.]

[There is a few seconds pause before she reaches out for the cat. ...She does not seem to mind as it crawls up to its familiar spot on her shoulder.]

Apparently the town decided that I should have him back after that ordeal finished.
