[Kyon has been kicked up into a furore over this latest event, however having hit a wall almost immediately, you may find him sitting on a park bench musing to himself...]... Man, I really am hopeless on my own, huh? I decide that I have to go and investigate this mess, yet I haven't the slightest clue where to start. It'd sure be useful if I had ( Read more... )

Leaving a placeholder for now, I'll tag tomorrow? Good night! forgotten_titan December 18 2011, 16:01:18 UTC
Kyon!!

(Tara runs up to him, panic etched across her face. When she finally reaches him, she has to take a few minutes to get her breath back. But when she does, she asks:)

Did you...did you hear the announcement this morning?

Oh, hey Tara! Yeah, problem is, I'm not entirely sure what I should do about it...

I know...I mean, it's not like we can go and demand the town to give them back. And I don't think they'd listen if we tried.

You're only useless if you give up. C'mon, I have an idea.

I think we should check out the dairy while there's a power glitch.

Right, that's probably the best place to check if we're after answers.

You could start with what you already know. For example, did you happen to have a strange dream on the 16th of December?

sosnarrator December 18 2011, 19:32:14 UTC
Yeah, I saw someone I knew back home in it. Although, I turned her down on the disappearing act.

So did I.

[Actually, the "Kotomine" from her dream had been violently punched away.]

So if all of the residents experienced dreams of that nature and everyone still remaining rejected the offer...then perhaps the ones that disappeared accepted?

[ There's a fakey fake fake person watching you. She'll approach after a moment and nudge him with an extra scarf. ]

Here. [ Not bothering to say much. She knows she'll be called a fake and, quite frankly, she's given up on trying to convince people otherwise. ] If you're going to site there a bit longer then here.

!!

[He'll spring up from his seat and point, Phoenix Wright style.]

O-oi oi, what do you think you're doing!?

(It's a fake of that girl I spoke to last week... Satou, wasn't it? Offering me a scarf like that out of the blue is far too suspicious!)

Offering some help. You don't want to get sick, do you?

... Fine.

[He'll cautiously accept the scarf. Besides, who knows? This might give him a chance to learn more about the fakes.]
