This turned all out so great! All the hard work definitely shows and paid off. Now you can enjoy that well earned weekend :)

My favorite image is the prompt piece. I especially love the trees with their play of dark and light, and the little details like the birds in the corner. And the very best thing overall for me are the silhouettes of the guys. I absolutely love how they mirror each other in the hair and jackets. <3

I still am a little awed that we managed to pull this off at all. I couldn't have done it without you! And look at all your pretty icons! And that texture! You're the awesomest person I know :).

I think for the longest time, the birds actually were my favorite part of that picture. Now I don't know, though. Could be the monsters, too. Or the boys. Or the texture.

♥.

I love, love, love these! The golden light and dark interplay on the banners, the same dark-to-light theme running through the other art pieces, and I do love the prompt picture a lot, but the OTHER ONE!! With the...whatever they are. Demon army? Dragons? I haven't read the fic yet so I don't know, but SO DAMN PRETTY. Let me just smish you.

Awww, thank you! I'm very glad you liked these! It hit a pretty rough patch with this set, it was just so difficult and laborious; for the longest time I wasn't sure I'd get anything done but the original picture (which didn't look like it does now, either ( ... )

I kinda stole the second one, do you know it looks really really good as the background of my Xperia? :D It's really, really, really cool. I love absolutely everything about it, from the grass-texture to the mountains to the color of the starry sky and the lovely 3D effect on the wolves-dragons-things, and the details on the Ninja Army's flag. Still saying nonsense because I didn't get time to read the fic yet ;) Still- I've seen NOTHING like this in my life, it's like a retro-cool version of a scene from an anime like Inu Yasha and I cannot stop looking at it, which is why it is now my phone's wallpaper ( ... )

Let's talk right now if you want to hash out some plot issues! Let's do it! Yes! I'm so hyped at the moment, I can't even tell you! I feel like screaming or something (the good kind). I'm legit blinking away tears ( ... )

Your original prompt turned out great in the end, didn't it! Love the path through the woods and all the menacing creatures. But my fave bit is that Dean's hair looks like it's standing on end! Brill!

Yay, thank you so much! ♥. The prompt went through quite the change indeed.

I don't know if you read the story before looking at the art, but if not then the bit about Dean's hair is very well observed ;).

the headers and dividers are fab - the light's really bright, the shadows are really strong, everything looks really solid. and the coloring on the main pics is really really nice, especially the first pic with the way the trees and the grass kind of fade into the far background. it gives the pic really good depth and makes the foreground where the boys are look kind of ominous.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! I'm very glad that this set spoke to you; I had a lot of fun with all the contrasting light and shadow bits.

It's interesting that you have the impression of things being solid in the banner/header/divider department, because for the longest time it felt like trying to nail down colors with air if that makes sense. There was no substance at all, no objects which shapes I could have followed, just yellow patches on black. I'm really glad that it seems to have worked out in the end! Thanks again :).

Oh dear, I'm sorry it took me this long to reply! Stayed gone longer than anticipated, and now that I'm back, RL keeps throwing things at me and I think we both know how easily distracted I am by everything shiny and new in fandom, too. Not that that's a proper excuse, but I wanted to let you know nonetheless.

I'm so grateful for all your effort, too, and for your wonderful story, all your hard work, your patience and the general awesomeness that is you! I loved working with you on this and even if it'll take a good long while, that third picture is neither forgotten nor abandoned. Promise!

*hugs right back* Thank you for everything!
