Remember, 15th = last day of school. No worries, by the end of tonight, all apps (....unless you have some giant hole in your app or something XDDD) will get a reply :OOOOOOO!!!
Someone brought up the question about magic during summer. ABSOLUTELY NO MAGIC. OF ANY FORM. OF ANY KIND. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEIR PARENTS' WAND, THEIR SISTERS' WAND, ANY WAND, ANY MAGIC. No exceptions, and please don't say your characters got away with it. That's just...OOC in the HP-verse, and very annoying for OTHER players who follow rules, AND still play well. And those who DO follow these HP-verse rules = majority, and we'd like to THANK ALL OF YOU GUYS FOR DOING THIS. The RP is close to a year-old now, and we're very happy to have created this RP/comm, and you guys have made it very enjoyable. Both for participants, readers, lurkers, etc. So A VERY BIG THANK YOU.
ALSO, AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, and it's kind of an issue that's been going back from the previous giant sets of mod posts from about a month ago. It's also been brought to my attention lately, again, by a sizeable amount of people, so it deserves a post. Yet again.
While this RP here don't mind pairings, relationships, etc, PLEASE DO NOT DO SOMETHING AS EXTREME AS ACTUAL RP "RAPE" without notifying one of the mods. It's a pretty sensitive topic, and there are people here on the RP who are not very comfortable with that, WITH GOOD REASON. Yes, it's RP. Yes, it's AU. Yes, it's with fictional characters. YES, your characters sleep with people and have bf/gf, or whatever. IT'S STILL A SENSITIVE TOPIC. Don't say something like "the incidence is just make-believe; you don't like it, don't read it." That's just rude and tasteless :x
Please do NOT have your character(s) start attacking people. Spells, hexes, fights = normal school life. Not so much rape, EXTREME hexes, and threatening someone's life (and actually meaning it). I'm sorry, but your character(s) are not all Voldemorts while in school. They're students. STUDENTS. Yes, students with magic, can do a lot of stuff, but Hogwarts, last time we checked, only managed to have ONE Voldemort.
So please cut down on the life-threats, uber-violence of ANY KIND (if you REALLY want to do something extreme, ask one of the mods on how to present this plot, etc, so it won't squeak so many people the wrong way). Val and I have been saying this for QUITE SOME TIME NOW. THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER THINGS YOU CAN DO IN A HOGWARTS, MULTIFANDOM RP. Be creative, and don't just copy what other people posted as their character(s), and you do NOT NEED TO RESORT TO A PLOT LIKE THIS to have a good RP-ing time. It's boring, can be very rude to a good number of people, and we all KNOW you can do better than that.
