I just recovered from strep throat and it was terrible. Luckily it doesn't last long.

Having kitchen counter tops replaced is a much bigger and messier endeavor than I had imagined.

For the first time I'm playing in a band. I don't know what exactly to call the type of music but I've heard it described as power pop, psychedelic or mod. Hello again.

California has a lovely climate, but earthquakes can make it horrible. What's happening in Japan is a reminder. I don't know if I want to live here.

I'm absolutely hating work this week. Sad thing is, I can't really blame my co-workers because they're all really cool and helpful. I suppose I just hate the job and when it gets busy, I'm extremely annoyed with it and only desire the day to end.

My downstairs neighbor's condo was broken into this morning. They took a whole bunch of valuable items including a vintage bass (she was a bassist in a famous band). The police think it wasn't random and her place was targeted. It's very unsettling. I'm concerned for leaving my place for any reason out of fear someone is staking it.

There's snow in the local hills. That's just wrong.

We've had 6 straight days of rain here and that's rare. It just ended tonight which means the air tomorrow will be unusually crisp and clear (it's usually hazy and smoggy). Lucky for me I'm working tomorrow from the 28th floor of a building in Burbank and I'll take plenty of pictures.
