As a coda to my fanmix post: holy shit, even the cute songs by Imogen Heap are weird. Take "Say Goodnight and Go," for instance. It's this cute, bubblegum song about unrequited love. The chorus goes like this:

She and Bjork, man. I bet if they had kids, their daughters would take over the world with crazy brilliant female mojo.

Also and unrelatedly, I just looked at a map of Richmond, and holy crap, your city looks like a beating fucking heart. Or maybe a nexus of magical energy. It's the highways!

And it is so cool that there's a place called Jessup Farm Acres thereabouts.

I think I've actually heard more of Frou Frou, which has just as high a quotient of songs about crazy people as her solo stuff, if not more. I do love her stuff, though, just not in high doses.

I... never noticed that, about Richmond's shape. But yeah, we do have a whole metric fuckton of highways, going around the city, through the city, back and forth. I live three blocks from a highway ramp! Which is very convenient.
