Thank you! One of the things I struggle with in this series is trying to make sure that Rodney still sounds like Rodney, despite all the things that have changed him, so I'm really glad to know that he was, in fact, still Rodney.

Thank you! In my opinion, Rodney should never be a fluffy little kitten, and going through the kind of battle experience he has isn't going to pull him in that direction at all. I was trying to show that he had a few softer edges, though, not from missing John, since that basically just made him more of a bastard, but because of Ronon and Teyla, and the emotional connection he has with two people who love each other, and love him
