Clear logic and academic thinking prove to have practical use. Well, and the equally trustworthy and clear prophecy was needed, too. Wizarding science rules :) Harry's conclusions made me laugh too hard. And the dentist-marketing-obliviator part *dies* Litteromancy! And what wonderful pictures you made :) Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your detailed comment :) I'm glad you enjoyed so many aspeccts of my ridiculousness! I did wonder whether making some of those pictures might have been a bit too ridiculoous, but I was relatively happy with them in the end. And Snape was right: It was very tasty soup!
This pair of fics is very funny, and make up an ode in praise of wizarding illogic. I loved it that the celery worked, both on the DEs and (in a purely physical way) on Voldemort.
Thank you :) I'm very interested in logic, so I thought it would be interesting to explore why wizards seem not to get it... Merlin only knows where the celery came from, though.
The puns and double entendres were brilliant - I'm sure there were quite a few that went over my head but I did so love the ones I recognized. I also loved very much how it wasn't remotely serious - until it was, when Harry almost choked to death in his sleep - Draco's reaction really pulled me up short. Suddenly, the story wasn't nearly as merrily lighthearted. I really like the way you did that. I liked that a lot.
(I also like the thought that went into Harry's vs Draco's handwriting - so apt)
Thank you for your kind words :DD I'm so pleased you liked this - dad jokes, gear changes and all.
The handwriting was a blast! I've actually just finished researching various aspects of late Georgian letter-writing, so this was a great opportunity to apply some practical skills. Harry's ever-so-beautiful script (!) is what happened when I wielded my quill with my non-dominant hand ;)
Hello! *waves* I'm afraid I'm a bit erratic at LJ (though when it came to posting this, I also struggled to make my pictures behave) but it's nice to "see" you again too :) Thank you so much for your feedback, patience and enthusiasm!
