Yes, no goldfish or idiots here!!
John was marvellous - putting in all the hours of practice necessary and yet in the end, coming to enjoy it, and the performance. I thought he was never going to ‘get’ it or realise what Sherlock was creating, but of course he does understand it all by the time of their dazzling performance.
