Oh this is delightful! As a pianist myself, I adore seeing the music side of this fandom; how lovely to combine the violin and the clarinet - inspirational!

Yes, much like Sherlock himself - allegro con brio would be his favoured tempo.

Do you know the works of Patrick O’Brian? This put me in mind of Aubrey and Maturin “sawing away” until all hours . . .
