So there's this comm, spn_outsidepov, that I found a few weeks ago, and I thought, "Ha, how cool. But challenges make me nervous. Oh, they accept drabbles? And you don't have to sign up? Weeell... Aww, this is lovely. A really nice glimpse of them both, and even though it's so short you really catch their voices nicely.

I really liked this more domestic aspect of John, and how his experience as a father comes through him even in unexpected places, like the Roadhouse.
