*fans self* This is hot like burning, and at the same time there is so much going on here between the characters. I could *hear* their voices earlier on - and the dialogue made me giggle in places - and it seems so right that David takes the lead. I love that he knows what Colby needs. I love the lack of awkwardness between the three of them. I love the reference to Megan kissing Don as well - enquiring minds would love to know!

The short version of this comment is that I quite simply loved this, start to finish. Thank you.

I don't mind in the least - I can see it must seem a little odd to receive such a belated comment! :-)

I only discovered the joy of Numb3rs in November last year so I'm still finding my way through the fic that was posted back when, and regretting that I've come to it so late. I found your LJ specifically through the Numb3rs New Year comm, as I wondered if any of the other participants knew why the posting there seems to have paused (I hope it goes without saying that I hope the mod there is okay), and followed the links to their journals. I'm so glad I did. I'm really looking forward to reading my way through more of your fic. :-)

I really did love this, and am *so* thankful to you for following up. Whilst this was perfect as it was, it did leave me wondering as to future interactions between them as well as to whether they had any future as a threesome, and the sequel was extremely satisfying!

I'm glad you're having fun looking through all these old fics! There is an awful lot of it after seven years. :-) If you want a nice way to look through some of the older ones, I started (and then kind of abandoned, whoops!) this delicious account compiling all the fic linked to by the numb3rs_news comm for, um, 2007, it looks like: Numb3rs_fic. It's nice if you have specific pairings/genres you like.

I realized after I responded to your comments that I recognized your name from numb3rs_newyear too! I've been wondering what's going on over there as well. I actually finally e-mailed CP a week or two ago to check in and offer to help if she wants, but I haven't heard back from her. I think, judging from what I've heard from some of her other friends and her other posts in the comm, that she is just really swamped with real life stuff. But I hope she's okay too! Hopefully soon we'll get all the fic posted and authors revealed
