I looked at the first group listed and thought, "Dream? Never heard of them," but as soon as I hit play on the YouTube video, I recognized the song and was practically able to sing every word. AH, MEMORIES.

It amazes me to discover how many of these old songs were blatantly about sex and I never realized it as a little teenybopper. *sigh*

That happens to me sometimes! I listen to old songs and say, "Wait a minute! Does that mean what I think it means?"

We were so innocent back then. LOL.

IDK if O-Town made it down to Argentina, but they had a song called Liquid Dreams which... was about wet dreams. And it's REALLY DIRTY and kind of gross and terrible to listen to now. Haha.

And of course we all know that Digital Get Down by 'N Sync was about cyber/phone sex, no matter how much they tried to insist it was about "hanging out with your friends and having fun" (wtf). I never really fell for that one. :-)

O-Town never made it here, you're right about that. But... I have the 'N Sync CDs here and OMG, yes, I used to listen to "Digital Get Down" and yes, it was all about phone sex!! That one I got it from the very beginning. I remember myself saying, "Okay, this really shouldn't be said by a teenager boy band..." *frowns*

Now... LOL!
