"You know I've started to get a little nervous in these things?" David offers, half smiling in spite of himself.
Colby watches him. "Makes sense," he says. "I guess being trapped with an unhinged gunman can do that to a guy."
"Yeah."
Colby reaches out and presses the button for their floor. The doors close. "Well, there's a difference now," he says.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" David leans against the wall, crosses his arms. He tries to relax.
"You've got me with you this time." Colby grins.
"Jackass," David says, punching his arm, but he smiles back, meeting Colby's eyes.
